Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click through and make a purchase or sign up for a service, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.

I want to be upfront about how this works, because you deserve to know.

What this means in practice

Affiliate links are marked in articles where they appear. They look and work like any other link — they just also send a small referral fee my way if you go on to buy or sign up.

The commission doesn’t change the price you pay. You get the same rate you’d get going direct.

How I choose what to recommend

I only link to products and services I would genuinely recommend to a friend moving to Brazil. That’s not a line — it’s the filter every recommendation on this site goes through.

Steffany is Brazilian, from Fortaleza. We’ve used many of the services I write about ourselves. Where I haven’t used something personally, I say so.

A programme existing doesn’t make it worth recommending. I’ve turned down affiliate arrangements that didn’t meet that standard.

Who I’m currently affiliated with

Wise — international money transfers and multi-currency accounts. I use Wise myself for moving money between euros and reais.

SafetyWing — travel and remote health insurance. A practical option for digital nomads who need coverage across multiple countries.

This list will grow as the site grows. I’ll update it here when new programmes are added.
