Accessibility Statement

Latitud8 is committed to making this site as accessible as possible for all visitors, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers.

Last updated: March 2026.

Our approach

This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

What we’re doing

Steps taken to improve accessibility on this site include: using semantic HTML heading structure throughout all content, providing descriptive alt text for all images, ensuring sufficient colour contrast between text and background, designing for mobile-first readability, and using descriptive link text rather than generic phrases like “click here.”

All Google Maps embeds include a descriptive title attribute to support screen reader users.

Known limitations

This is an independent site maintained by one person. While every effort is made to meet accessibility standards, some older content may not yet meet all criteria. Issues are addressed as they are identified.

Third-party elements — including the cookie consent banner and affiliate redirect pages — are outside direct control, though providers are chosen with accessibility in mind where possible.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please get in touch via the contact page. I take these reports seriously and aim to respond within 10 working days.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with the response to an accessibility issue, you may contact the relevant enforcement body in your country. In the EU, this is generally your national equality or disability rights authority.
